| As of 12 November, We
achieved Up Standing Chip's Superior in Amateur Western
                Pleasure. A Word of thanks:
                 First to My Loving
and most supportive Husband, Jeffery Elias, and to our Excellent
trainer, Jamie Wright because, without Jeff's guidance and
Jamie's training this dream would never have been possible. To make a very long
story short: At one point Mary Lou
and Maggie were just about to part ways.  In December of 2001,
she had lost all hope of getting this mare to come around and
almost traded her for a saddle and a little boot. Her loving husband
talked her into keeping the mare.  they agreed, but only if they
could find someone that would bring out the best in her that
they knew was in the mare. -- In March 02, she was sent to
Jamie and that's when the tables turned. In November, just 8
months later, they received a Superior performance award in
                Amateur Western Pleasure. On
the top right is Up Standing Chip, known
                as "Maggie".   We
                have sent Jamie
Wright  another of our babies he has done so well
getting them broke and ready to show.    This
time, he is riding a baby we raised out of my old pleasure mare,
"Lazin in Da Sun" an own daughter of the Copper Count and Up
                Standing Zipper.
                  I
am a firm believer in - "What Comes Around, Goes
Around", and although you may never see it go around, it
will! - So, do the best to do your best, and if you step on someone's
toes, apologize.  Life is only what you make it and we
are only here once. This fall, we intend on showing at the "Alabama
                Southern Select", "Magic
                20", "Columbia,
                TN", and "Murfreesboro
                TN" futurities.
